Up for sale is a top of the line Verne Q. Powell professional hand made sterling silver B foot flute with: soldered tone holes, pointed cups, C# trill key, gold lip plate & riser, and a special order hardwood crown! This flute has been meticulously cared for and maintained for over 25 years by the world renown flute and piccolo guru Jeff Weissman in New York.
This flute is in absolutely top notch playing condition, with a beautiful tone quality, even scale, and an excellent response in all of the registers. Several years ago Jeff Weissman, also a technical adviser to both Powell & Haynes installed a standard issue high E facilitator doughnut insert into the left hand ring finger G tone hole to help improve high note response, which has now become a standard addition on all modern professional flutes.
This flute has been used primarily in the studio for a plethora of recordings of CD's for well known artists of all genres, dozens of film soundtracks, TV shows, and radio & TV commercials.

Although my photos aren't great, I can attest that there are no scratches, nicks, or dents on any of the three sections of the flute. There are the usual signs of slight tarnish at the usual areas, and minute surface blemishes that will buff right out with the proper cloth and cleaning solution.
You will not find another handmade vintage Verne Q. Powell in as good as this condition that includes all of the bells and whistles of this one in this price range anywhere! It is definitely priced to sell. This flute is guaranteed to please even the most discerning flutist!
